When most of the expected films had flunked terribly at box office, Surya’s Aadhavan proves to be a sure-footed winner. Yeah! His previous release Aadhavan released on Diwali 2009 has now successfully completed 100 days. The film is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin under the banner name of Red Giant Movies and is directed by K.S. Ravikumar.

To mark the success of this film, the producers have organized a special gathering today evening at Park Sheraton in Chennai. Padmashree Kamal Hassan will honor the actors and technicians with shields while Rama Narayanan, Tamil Film Producers Council’s President will preside over the occasion congratulating the team. Actor Surya, music director Harris Jayaraj, K.S. Ravikumar, producer Udhayanidhi Azhagiri and other technicians of this film will be present.

Aadhavan is about a sharpshooter assigned to kill a judge involved in the investigation of serial murders of children in Kolkatta. But it’s revealed that hitman is none other than judge’s son. (OI)

Rahman has really rocked across the globe as one of our viewers said conveyed great news that it’s one of the most highly sold out music on amazon.com…

But for Harris Jayaraj, it was actor Surya recommending him in as much film as possible. Now we hear that Vijay has offered Harris Jayaraj to score music for his 51st film to be directed by ‘Jayam’ Raja.

This is gonna be a special film since Raja has assured that it will be a direct Tamil film and not a remake. Of course, it’s an 8th wonder to see that both remake kings are opting for a new-fangled formulas. (KT)
