The launch of the Times Food Guide 2009 and the Times Nightlife Guide 2009 is an event that Delhi foodies and the city’s social circuit wait for all year, because there’s no better food, no better crowd, and certainly no better way to discover the best food and nightlife that Delhi has to offer! Asin, in glittering black, was the lovely chief guest of the evening, and she admitted that while actresses aren’t supposed to be foodies, she was! She said that she was the perfect choice to launch the guides. Asin enjoyed a variety of cuisines at dinner. She especially liked the Italian and the Japanese food. “I love food!” she grinned.
“It’s not the best brand fit to have an actress launch a food guide or have anything to do with food. But for me, I thought it was perfect, not as an actress but as a person. In today’s times, you have to make the right choices about everything. And I think that the Times Food Guide 2009 and the Times Nightlife Guide 2009 do exactly that – they give you the opportunity to make choices. It’s about variety. Going out becomes really easy,” she said, soon after she launched the guides in the presence of Times Group MD Vineet Jain, whose vision drives the comprehensive and reader friendly guides, published by Times Group Books.
