Namitha is now acting in the remake of the yesteryear film Jaganomohibni. The new film has been titled as Jaganmohini. Namitha and Raja are the lead actors. Namitha is essaying the role played by Jaya Malini in the original.

The film has raised the expectations of the people a lot as the film will also have rich graphics like Arundathi. Namitha is now looking slimmer and sexier and her underwater acts as a ‘Mathsyakanya’ will be the special attraction of the film. Namitha has done the scenes herself and she is also a good swimmer and even knows scuba diving. This has helped her greatly in performing some of the difficult underwater scenes with relative ease.
