Asin, the mallu beauty who marked her name in bollywood with the movie “Ghajini’ has bagged an IIFA award on Saturday in the best debut actress category. The squint eyed beauty has bagged the award on the basis of merit which was awarded to her by the jury members of IIFA 2009.
The awards ceremony was organized on a grand scale at Macau and Asin received the award amongst the thousands of spectators. Aamir Khan who was the male lead in the film appreciated Asin on phone and told her work hard in the film industry.
This for the first time that, a Malayalam beauty has been awarded an IIFA award.
