Kesavan is producing a film titled Azhagana Ponnuthaan under the banner K Cinema. New face Raja Karthik is doing the lead role. Namitha is pairing with him. Thiru has written the story screenplay and dialogues. He is also directing this film. K V Suresh is handling the camera. Sundar C Babu is composing the music. Director while speaking about this film said,” The story is about an 18 year old youth who falls in love with an elderly girl. Namitha dons the role of a beautiful tribal girl. That is why we have titled the film Azhagana Ponnuthaan (beautiful girl). I have not conveyed any message in this film. I have recorded a life’s experience. This is a beautiful love story.
All are asking whether I chose Namitha because of her glamour. That is not the reason. In fact this film has brought out her acting talent. Namitha will be totally different in this film. Apart from this a popular hero will appear in a guest role. The hero’s name is being kept suspense for time being. The shooting of the film is over. The audio of this film will be released next month. The film will be released after the audio launch. There is a question that why this film was delayed. It was delayed because there was a great deal of work in this. That is why it got delayed.”
