Actress Bharathi, whose performance in the Parthiban-starrer Ammuvaaghiya Naan has announced that she is moving out of films, as no good roles are coming her way.

“Filmdom doesn’t serve anyone forever. When my movie was a hit, I received a lot of attention. But following that, I’ve not been getting good offers. I’m quitting cinema”, says the actress who got secretly married to a relative.

As of now, she will continue her studies and her painting, which she thinks will stand her in good stead than a career in cinema!

Police interrogates Bharathi's manager!

The Chennai police has started interrogation with the manager of actress Bharathi (Ammuvakiya Naan fame) for having filed a false complaint against the actress.

Velraja, who has worked as Bharathi's manager for a short term filed a complaint to the City police commissioner, that the actress attacked him with the help of goons to recover the debt. He has also accused Thanigaivelu, a cinema financier for assisting Bharathi in this attack.

But after hearing the case thoroughly, the police inquired Bharathy and Thanigaivel. They told that Velraja had taken a huge sum of Rs.75000 for his personal use. However he did not return the amount to Thanigaivel, who had given the entire amount.

Now the police doubts Velraja for having made false allegation against the actress and has summoned him for interrogation.
