Chocolate boy Madhavan’s kiss scene with co-star Kangna Ranaut in his upcoming film ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ is the talk of the town now. Some of the pictures also rounding on the net. But hero R Madhavan denies kissing Kangna.

R Madhavan has clarified that he has not shot for any smooching scene with Kangna Ranaut for the romantic comedy, releasing on February 25.

"Guys – fortunately or unfortunately there is no smooching scene between Kangna and I in the film. I don’t know how such a story originated (sic),” Madhavan posted on his Twitter page.

In the film, he plays Manu, a guy from London who comes to India in search of a bride and falls in love with a small-town girl Tanu essayed by Kangna. (CHIT).

I just had some free time and took a holiday in America with my family.

There was some news about my acting with Salman Khan. That’s false information. Another rumour that Priyadarshan replaced me with Kangana Ranaut is also false.

‘Neninthe’ which was a film with a combination of Andhra Amitabh Ravi Teja and director Puri Jagannath sank without a trace within 10 days of its release. According to sources, the movie’s storyline was a bit teasing to the media and to some big stalwarts of Telugu cinema industry. So, it met its ill fate and was a big flop last year.

Now, the combo of director Puri Jagannath and Ravi Teja are again teaming up for a movie which will be based on the life story of IT professional who losses his job due to the world wide recession. Ravi Teja will be seen as a IT software professional working in a corporate company and Kangana Ranaut will romance with him as an office colleague. The story will be a twisty turnip saga with some entertainment and a message in the end. The story was in discussion part and the will go onto floors from November this year. Kangana Ranaut has agreed to work in this film, but is yet to sign on the dotted line after a final discussion on her remuneration. Some sources reveal that Mohan babu is going to produce this movie under Lakshmi Prasanna banner.

The nude news of Kangana Ranaut at last ended up as a gossip. From the past few weeks there has been a big surge in media about the possible nude scene of Kangna Ranaut in Puri Jagannath’s ‘Ek Niranjan’. But that was condemned by Kangana when she was asked by a Mumbai media.

Many in Mumbai wondered how Kangana can show nude in a Telugu film when she didn’t do that so easily for Hindi movies. Kangana gave clarification saying, “I heard about this gossip. Puri is very dignified person in Tollywood and he too is getting many calls from journalists enquiring about it. I never pose nude. Even in Raaz 2 I was covered with a body tight costume before getting into bath tub. But that was promoted as nude. I posed for a few stills for Ek Niranjana and in fact they are very hot as I toned up my body and muscles exclusively for that shoot. And coming to the nude aspect again, I never pose nude. My family members are very traditional and they would bring me back to Himachal Pradesh if I cross my limits. I would never compromise on nudity whatever be the number of zeroes in my cheque”.

Well, that’s a clear clarification from the heroine whose gossip was spread like wild fire.

We all know that Hindi actress Kangna Ranaut is arriving in Tollywood with a film opposite Prabhas to be directed by Puri Jagannath.But what we didn’t know is that she was paid a bomb to play a glam role. Normally, celebrity debutantes are signed for about Rs 5 to 10 lakh, but this hot starlet seems to be an exception. Hold your breath! Producer Aditya Ram dug deep into his pockets to pay Rs 1 crore to the Raaz girl.

“Neither is she a top Hindi actress nor has she acted with big league Bollywood stars,” says a top director, who feels that her price tag will create ripples in the industry. For quite some time, ‘regular’ producers have been worried about the revised price tags of hotshot actresses like Nayantara, Anushka and Ileana and this news could come as a ‘shock’ to them.“Of late, Tollywood is loaded with proposal makers. Some of these producers stitch up ‘combinations’ of star actors and actresses overlooking budgetary equations. No genuine producer will indulge in such harakiri,” says producer-director Teja. “Normally, pay packets veer around the saleability and popularity of a particular actress and Anushka who can draw crowds deserves such a fancy fee,” he adds.

On one hand, producers have been racking their brains to arrive at ways and means to reduce the spiralling cost of production and wriggle out of adverse financial situations. On the other, ironically, some of those producers are encouraging pricey debutantes.“Already, male stars and top technicians have jacked up their prices and if debutantes too join the pricey list, imagine the plight of the industry,” says a leading producer. Interestingly, the manager of a top actress also supports our view. “Bellamkonda Suresh started this trend two years ago by paying Ileana Rs 1 crore,” he says. And the trend seems to continue with Kangna creating a record of sorts as the priciest debutante ever in Tollywood. Looks like a fancy price tag has become a fashion statement for Tollywood’s leading ladies.
