Tamil beauty Reema Sen, who is now spelt as Reemma Sen, will be marrying her boyfriend Shiv Karan Singh in this year. Although the news about the wedding is not yet finalized, the engagement ceremony took place, with only friends as witnesses.

According to sources, Reemma Sen was proposed by Shiv Karan Singh, on February 16th, 2011 at 11:00pm in the night. The actress could not believe it, but she liked the traditional way of proposing of Shiv and she said yes to his love proposal. According to sources, Shiv Karan Singh gifted a big diamond ring to Reema Sen aka Reemma Sen on the occasion and both the side elders are convinced, about their relationship.

Shiv Karan Singh is an owner of a chain of restaurants in Mumbai and Mocha and Smoke house grill Delhi are one of the upper market hang outs located at SLF Emporia Mall and at Greater kailash.

There are reports that the bash was organized by Shiv and it was a complete surprise to Reema, who came in a black dress. The party was attended by top socialites and as well as 3 very big business tycoons and all congratulated the couple, for getting bonded.

Reema Sen was surprised to see her party stills along with actress Shriya in the media. Reacting to the same, the actress has admitted that those were true stills of her, captured during her personal party throwing to her close friends, on new years’ eve. She was a bit disappointed, of the stills leaked into the media. But she says that all is fair in this high profile glamour world.

Reemma gave a brief interview to a Indian news daily and said that she hates kissing her co-star n screen. She also revealed that she is not a trend setter and so is away from kissing, bed room scenes and so on in the movies. If there could be one person who is extremely happy about the outcome of ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’, she is Reemma. The actress is on cloud nine, thanks to the appreciations she has receiving from various quarters for the last 48 hours.

“I am happy a lot. At last, all our hardwork had borne fruits. My friends say my performance in the film was very good. My sincere thanks to all my colleagues, especially director Selvaraghavan,” she says.

“Shooting for the movie taught me many things, first and foremost being patience and perseverance to achieve quality”, she says and adds: “there’s a lot written about the film and its delay. But it is not an easy film to shoot.”

“It’s an ensemble film with a larger-than-life canvas. It might sound cliched, but I have to admit it’s a different film. It’s something that has not been attempted before.”

Reemma also clears the air on some reports that she is playing a crucial role in Vishal’s ‘Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai’. “No, I am not there in TVP”, she says. (TW)

Reema Sen disclosed that she and director Selvaraghavan were at loggerheads several times during the shoots of Aayirathil Oruvan (Yuganiki Okkadu in Telugu). She said that it was difficult to understand his style of working and hence differences of opinion arose but it was pushed to the backseat later when she came to realize how it would benefit the film.

The actress reveals that she has made amends with the director and also increased her call sheet from 40 days to 240 days. Reema says that she would accept films based on her liking and no one could force her to star in a film if she does not like the script. (CHIT)

Neetu Chandra, the delicate darling of Bollywood is a model turned actress who marked her name also in Tollywood and Kollywood film industries. Her recent photo shoot along side a swimming pool in Mumbai received lot flak from the public and the media. The photo shot had to be discontinued on request of the hotel guest and the general public as they claimed that the photo shoot was filled with A-D-U-L-T Stuff.

Reema Sen, one of the hottest actress in Kollywood has clarified that she is not acting in Vishal's action romantic flick Theeratha Vikayattu Pillai.

"I'm not doing the film due to some reasons", said Reema to the media.

Produced by Kanagarathna Movies Ramesh, debutant Thiru is directing the movie. Thiru assisted Vishal in his last movie Satyam.

The film has Three heroines and earlier we had heard that Bipasha Basu was one of the heroines, which the actress denied. Later reports clarified that Tamanna would do the film. But she has also declined the offer.

And now Reema has opted out after hearing the script and okaying it. This clearly indicates that she is not interested in dong a Three heroine subject after her bitter experience in Vallavan.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is in charge of the music, while Aravind Krishna is the cinematographer of Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai.

Aayirathil Oruvan targets Chennai

Although Karthi's commitments with Aayirathil Oruvan are over, seems like, the movie is far from complete. It is understood that few of Reema Sen's portions are still pending and that the actor (Reema) has dedicated another 15 days for the final leg of the shooting. The last schedule involving Reema will be shot extensively in and around Chennai, as per sources close to the director.

Meanwhile, Karthi is busy with Payya, his third project and first with Lingusamy with Tamanna in the lead. Aayirathil Oruvan, however, is expected to hit the screens in mid-2009. A long wait indeed!
