Kollywood Actress Samiksha In English Movie

First she was a little depressed when her roles in Rajathi Raja (Raghava Lawrence) and Murattukkalai (Sundar C.) were deleted following some corrections in the script. But now, this has turned into a boon for her. Samiksha , who sizzled in Panchamirtham recently and is acting in Karthigai , has landed a plum role in a Bollywood bilingual (Hindi and English).

The story of a young Punjabi girl whose profession takes her to Canada, the film showcases her homesickness and discomfort in a foreign land. Looks like this film will be Samiksha’s Hindi and English version of Aananda Thaandavam (Tamannaah) which has a similar theme. The film will be extensively shot in Canada with Canadian-Indian actors. Samiksha is now in Canada for a month-long shoot. The beautiful actress said that she is quite happy for having landed a role that gives her a chance to explore her acting skills.

Samiksha gives a place to Sindu Tulani

Samiksha who is well known for her acting in super hit films like Arindhum-Ariyaamalum is still to taste immense success in the film industry. Her Telugu industry film career was also dim and so concentrated on her Tamil films.

But it is said that Samiksha has no place in the film industry due to her extra tantrums displayed on the sets of her films. Due to this nuisance, her role from Rajathi Raja, which has Lawrence in the lead, was also chopped off.

Now, freshly due to some un-disclosed reasons Samiksha is also said to be replaced by actress Sindhu Tolani in the movie Murattu Kaalai. The movie is being directed by Selvabharathi and the role of Samiksha was that off character Sumalatha.

But due to Samiksha’s tantrums she is replaced by Sindhu. But when contacted, Samiksha shrugged off the rumors by saying that she had some personnel issues and so backed out of the project.

The film is also produced by Shakti Chidambaram and for the leading man Lawrence, ther eare about half a dozen heroines namely Meenakshi, Snigdha, Mumtaz, Kaamna, Kiran and Samiksha.

When Shakti Chidambaram decided to cut down on one heroine, he had to make a tough decision on whom to remove from the cast and his choice fell on Samiksha. On being summarily removed like this, Samiksha who had been very happy to be in the film, is rather dejected at suddenly being axed like this.

When asked about this, Shakti Chidambaram say she has made a lot of changes in the story that resulted in Samiksha's portion being unnecessary, and hence he had to remove her from the cast. The unit however has a somewhat different reason for this - that Samiksha did not give way over the 'expected' to the hero and director, hence she was axed from the film.
