Complaint against Sana Khan

Complaint against Sana Khan

August 3, 2010

Having been a successful model in Mumbai, actress Sana Khan made her way into Kollywood with Silambarasan starrer ‘Silambattam’. The actress later paired with Bharath in ‘Thambikku Indha Ooru’ that was a terrible flop. Now she has signed many projects - films Aayiram Vilakku, Santhu Pottu and Payanam. The actress is reported to have lots of challenging characterizations in this movie.

But the latest buzz is that she has entered into a conflict with newcomer Aamna Sheriff, whom she has replaced her in a Kannada movie. According to the sources, the actress was supposed to paired opposite Golden Star Ganesh in a film directed by Mahesh. Aamna made her complaint that Sana Khan had met Ganesh’s wife during a private party and convinced her to eliminate her from the project. When approached Mahesh, he said, “Aamna was selected by Ganesh while my part was to cast an actress, who looks apt for the role of a college student and felt Sana Khan was suitable for it…” (KT)

It was pleasant experience acting with Bharath. He helped me a lot to do my role well…”

Sana Khan in a village girl role with difference

Sana Khan in a village girl role with difference

December 2, 2009

Sana Khan made her debut as a heroine in the film Silambattam which had Simbhu in the lead, now she is acting in Bharath starrer Thambikku Indha Ooru, Sibi Raj starrer Santhu Pottu and Santhanoo starrer ‘Aayiram Vilakku’. Sana Khan while speaking to the media said,” After Silambattam I became very busy in Tamil films. I am very happy about this. The three films Thambikku Indha Ooru, Santhu Pottu and Aayiram Vilakku are being made with the backdrop of the village. Silambattam was also like these films. Many are asking me about me doing stereo typed roles. Definitely it is not. Though I wore half saree in Silambattam the role was a glamour one. In song sequences I acted with glamour dresses”.

Adding more on her roles, she says, “I am donning the role of an athlete in the film Thambikku Indha Ooru. So there is no village girl role in this film. In ‘Aayiram Vilakku’ I am doing the role of a Madurai girl. But I will not wear half saree. I will be wearing churidhar suits. In Santhu Pottu my role has prominence; I have donned the role of a pragmatic village girl. I got some Telugu films. Like how I acted with Simbhu, I also want to act with top young Telugu actors. I will wait until I get the chance. Presently I will be acting in Tamil films only.”

Not many actresses in our tinsel town wanna learn the best traits that would keep them active and fit in physiques. But Sana Khan is so vigorously involved in learning the best workouts to keep her fit. The actress made her debut in Kollywood with Simbhu starrer ‘Silambattam’ and now has got a single offer with Bharath in ‘Thambikku Indha Ooru’. Apart from this, she has no offer in Tamil and even after revealing that she is ready to expose her skin show, she had no calls from moviemakers of Tollywood.

Meanwhile the actress is signing deals with Hindi ads in Mumbai and since she has lots of leisure times, Sana is busy learning Salsa dance. It’s worth mentioning that she had completed the professional course in swimming and horse riding….

Sana Khan compromises for item songs

Sana Khan compromises for item songs

March 19th, 2009

Sana Khan who zoomed into Tamil film industry with her debut movie Silambattam opposite to actor Simbhu melted down like an ice after its release. Before the movie’s release, the seductive actress was seen commenting on Nayantara and her acting skills who is a established actress now.
Sana was in the limelight for saying some derogatory statements against Nayan.

But now, the babe has become a silent actress and is waiting for some offers. Sana looks like bollywood fame Celina jaitley in her looks and so was expecting a flood of film offers after her debut movie release. But she was sidelined by the industry and is only acting in a movie titled as “Thambikku Idha Ooru” in a role of a tennis star. She is hoping some value after this films release and is waiting for some meaty roles.

Presently, Sana has no work and is said to be doing a few AD films in Mumbai. Recently, she has compromised to do even item numbers if they fetch her good amount. It is reported that she has got an offered from the Telugu industry for an item song and is going to earn Rs 15 lakhs for it.

Kollywood Actress To Follow Sania Mirzas Way

Kollywood Actress To Follow Sania Mirzas Way

March 7th, 2009

Kollywood is not making any film on Sania Mirza with Sana Khan in the lead. We only meant to say that Sana Khan, the beautiful heroine of Silambattam, is playing a tennis player in the upcoming Bharath-starrer Thambikku Indha Ooru. Well, that also means Sana Khan will don micro miniskirts for the major portion of the movie!

Says Sana, “I have a pretty glamorous role in Thambikku Indha Ooru; it is quite opposite to my role (demure village girl) in Silambattam. I play a modern Chennai girl, a tennis player. So obviously, I will be seen in trendy and fashion wear all the time, not just in songs. I like to do such commercial movies, and as a newcomer to Kollywood, I do not want experimental roles.”

Now, Sania… oops sorry… Sana Khan will be a major reason for youngsters to watch Thambikku Indha Ooru. But director Badri says Bharath will be THE centre of attraction in the film. With everyone aware of Bharath’s dancing abilities and his association with John Britto Dance School, something new is always expected of him in every film. And this time, the youngster is said to have worked extensively on some dance steps that even many trained dancers find difficult. Bharath has also worked quite hard to build a physique lithe enough to carry out the risky and exciting action sequences.Thambikku Indha Ooru also stars Prabhu, Vivek and Ranjith in prominent roles. The first schedule of this film was completed recently.

I don’t mediate for anybody says Sana Khan of Silambattam

I don’t mediate for anybody says Sana Khan of Silambattam

January 3rd, 2009

When Sana Khan was asked whether she was mediating between Simbhu and Nayanthara she said,” Romance and clashes are their personal matter. Why should I poke my nose in their personal matter? One can love 10 girls at a time or once girl can love 10 boys at a time. It is their entire personal wish. I have mentioned that Trisha is my favourite actress.

People ask me that if I don’t like the number one actress Nayanthara. How can I say that I like her when actually I don’t like her. I cannot change my personal opinion. I don’t need to mediate for anybody. Both have their mobiles. They can speak if they want.”

Simbu’s Silambattam Join The “Kings Of Box Office” List Of 2008

Simbu’s Silambattam Join The “Kings Of Box Office” List Of 2008

December 25th, 2008

Of late, Silambattam has been a major cause of traffic jams in some parts of the city! How?! Venture out on the roads abutting the theatres where it is screened and you will know! It looks like all the crowds of Chennai are at the theatres playing Silambattam! This movie has been receiving an astounding audience response and it looks like it will soon join the “kings of box office” list of 2008!

Inside, you would hear all sorts of chaotic expressions of joy. People love it, especially the songs, stunts, and the “Simbuisms”. One should look at the audience reaction to the songs to believe it! ‘Nalamthana’, ‘Vachikkava’, ‘Where is the party’ seem be everyone’s favourites!

Simbu plays two roles in this film: a strong-willed villager and a demure lad who turns violent in the second half. Though audiences enjoy both parts equally, the “villager” seems to more preferred by the public! Surprisingly, though the “demure-boy-turned-macho-man” character has the best songs and dance sequences, yet the other character has left a deeper impression on the audiences’ minds. The reason? They have not seen Simbu in such a mature character before - we just have to stop at that to avoid leaking the plot! And Simbu’s Billa getup is a bonanza!

Heroines: Simbu’s heroines are always a topic of discussion just like the Bond girls, and they have an exotic aura, e.g. Yana Gupta and Mandira Bedi. The trend continues in Silambattam too - a wonderful beauty Sana Khan has been introduced in this film. Plus we have Kollywood’s “Mona Lisa” - Sneha, the lady with a beautiful smile! Both these girls walk away with your hearts despite their abbreviated roles and outfits!Clearly, Silambattam is another feather in Simbu’s cap!Simbu probably sustained more injuries while attempting those acrobatic dance steps than in stunt sequences! Watch out for those incredibly nimble dance steps! Great!
