‘Siddarth recommended me’ - Padmapriya

‘Siddarth recommended me’ - Padmapriya

March 26, 2010

Few actors purposely went away from Kollywood as the film industry here is brimmed with mass hero images and lots of egoistic approach between them. Actor Madhavan can be a perfect illustration and so is Siddarth, who just acted in couple of Tamil films and flew all the way to Telugu and Hindi films.

Actress Padmapriya, who recently made her Bollywood debut with ‘Striker’, says, ‘I must thank Siddarth for having offered me a role in his film. It was Siddarth, who recommended me after watching some of my films. I will continue acting in Hindi films only if I come across meaty roles. It’s not like other actresses just picking whatever they’re offered with…’

The actress has won laurels across all the regional languages for her commendable performance. (KT)

February 2, 2010

Malayalam beauty Padmapriya, who has already won an award, is aiming for another from her two upcoming movie projects. The actress is acting opposite to Indian cinema actor Siddharth in a Hindi movie titled as ‘Striker’ and has a meaty role in this movie. The movie is about a caroms player and the experiences of his life.

At the same time, Padmapriya is also acting in a Tollywood film which is “Andari Bhadhuvaya” and the actress has another meaty role in this film. Bollywood and the Tollywood film feature, Padmapriya in a neat role, but expose her assets in some skimpy clothes in the songs. The stills of these two movies are out in circulation and the heavy thighs and a great back of Padmapriya are said to be raising the temperatures of many males.

But earning an award with these two movies is a bit foolish as they don’t portray her in main lead according to the director’s report. (HC)
