As Kamal Haasan had mentioned earlier, his forthcoming film ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ directed by his close associate Chakri is all set to release on August 12. A remake of Bollywood’s trendsetting blockbuster ‘A Wednesday’ and it’s going to be precisely a different film in Tamil film industry. Earlier, as Kamal had mentioned that his fans requested him to release the film on August 12 as it marks the golden jubilee ever since the young Kamal made his debut in ‘Kalathur Kannamma’ in Aug 12, 1959.
With accordance to trade issues, the distributors have also planned to release the film on the same occasion as it’s a big weekend. With Independence Day getting on with August 15, there would be a prolonged holiday and business is expected to do well.
