Leading actor Surya is all set to join the league of heroes who are doing playback singing for themselves.
According to the reports, the hero is going to hold on to the mike for a song in his own film Singam.
Director Hari, who is all set to begin this project with Surya, is planning to make the actor sing for the film.
Heroes like Vikram, Vijay, Bharath, Simbu and Dhanush are already there in the league, along with the legendary actor Kamal Hassan.
Singam is Surya's 25th film and the actor wants to make it an unforgettable one in his career. Sources close to the director reveal that the hot music director Yuvan has signed the dotted lines and Anuska plays the lead lady role.
The film is produced by his cousin Gnanavel who has already produced the block buster Paruthiveeran.
