Choreographer, actor cum director Raghava Lawrence, after playing a lead role in ‘IKMS’ has started his second directorial film which is being made both in Tamil and Telugu.

It is titled as ‘Kanchana’ and is sequel to his earlier film ‘Muni’. From long time there is a buzz that Anushka plays the lead heroine opposite Lawrence. But now, the latest news is that tall beauty Lakshmi Rai plays the lead heroine opposite Lawrence while Anushka plays the key role. A new villain Satheesh is being introduced in this film.

At present, the film is progressing at brisk pace at Sneha Bungalow on ECR. The action sequences are being shot that is choreographed by Super Subbarayan. [WaY]

Dance master Lawrence has been one man who started as a dancer and went on to become a choreographer, then an actor and also a director. His movies like ‘Mass’ were received well by the audience and later on, Lawrence did few stints in Tamil too.

However, it is now being said that he has lost that sort of following and it was evident with this recent incident. There is news that when Lawrence wanted to do the audio release function of his latest venture ‘Rajadhi Raja’, not one member from the circuit is said to have agreed to come to it.

With no other choice, it is said that Lawrence decided to come up with the direct release of his movie. The film happens to be a dubbed version of the Tamil movie with the same title and Lawrence paired up with not one or two but a total of five beautiful heroines. However, the industry folks are heard saying that it is better Lawrence focuses on his choreography than getting into other things. His chapter as main lead seems to have closed.
