Tamil cinema senior actresses Kushboo and Suhasini will soon share screen space in a movie which is going to be directed by Jaya Devi. This female creative film maker, who has a background of making Vilangu Meen and Nalan Nalamariya Aaval is said to have proposed the two actresses a perfect script for acting.

“Ananda Leelai” will the movie title and will have a subject based on the latest controversy of swami Nityananda. Jaya chitra, the director wants to create awareness among women, against all those fake godman in the society.

So, this film will be a good learning lesson to all women, who worship godman more than god. Recently, the director had discussions with the two actress aunties and both of them are inclined to work on the message oriented subjects. But Kushboo and Suhasini are said to be hesitant towards few scenes which may show them with ill character.

Producer-director Shakthi Chidambaram had said that he would file a case against Suhasini Mani Ratnam for commenting on his recently released Rajathi Raja in bad taste. The actress, in a TV show hosted by her, reviewed Rajathi Raja and said that it has used the commercial formula used in MGR, Rajini and Vijay films and added that the movie had pushed Tamil cinema where it was twenty years ago.

Irked by her comment, Shakthi Chidambaram questioned if that is so, her husband Mani Ratnam is making a film based on Ramayana, which is more that 2000 years old. He added that all Mani’s previous films were based on historical books like Karnan, Satyavan Savithri and the like. Wonder what Suhasini has to say to this?

Mani Ratnam finally accepts Suhasini

Mani Ratnam has finally acknowledged the actress in his wife Suhasini. He has offered her a prominent role in his upcoming venture Ravana. The Hindi version stars Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Bachchan and Vikram, while the regional versions have Vikram, Aiswarya and Prithviraj in the lead roles. The movie is expected to give a different perspective to Ramayana in this modern age.

Mani Ratnam is known for his perfectionism in every field of movie making, right from the choice of theme to the stars and to the final execution. Therefore it has to be acknowledged that none of his characters in any of his movies have been out of place. But that the talented actress Suhasini had to wait for so many years for her husband benevolence glance to fall upon her would point in two directions.

Maybe the actress who has donned many prominent roles in South India had to wait for so long to enter into her husband's good books, to prove herself as a capable actress or that the loving husband has been waiting for the right opportunity to cast his wife, the talented actress in a role befitting her status. Many a wild guess can be made, but the couple will prefer to evade all these with their innocent yet tricky smiles.
