The famous director Ameer has a mark in the industry that he takes long time to write a script as he goes on making changes and rewrites, so that his films takes long years to complete.

At present, Ameer is directing a film titled ‘Aadhi Bhagavan’ that has Jayam Ravi and Mamata Mohan Das in the lead. The movie already had a schedule in the Bangkok but no shot has been picturized on Mamata so far for the film.

She has given bulk dates to the director for this film by wasting her lot of time. As Ameer is making changes to the script, the shooting is not taking place. Sources say that as she has to give her confirmation whether she can give one year of her time and call sheet to the Ameer film or go her way.

They also said that she is having nearly six new films in all the languages together but if she sticks on to Aadhi Bagavan, she has to definitely give up those projects. [WaY]

Shruthi Rajyalakshmi Hassan, the 23 year old beauty is all set to romance with actor Jayam Ravi in New York. The actress is acting as a female lead in the movie titled as “ICH” which will be directed by choreographer turned director Prabhu Deva. This is the second movie of Prabhu and the movie is said to have an interesting script which will be shot in New York and Chennai.

According to sources, Shruthi Hassan who is also a model and Indian play back singer was adamant on a decision to remain in Chennai till March, 2010 end for personnel reason. She insisted to film the movie in Chennai till April and then she was ready to fly to New York. But somehow, Prabhu as made her accept the decision to fly to New York and participate in the first & second schedule of his “ICH”. Prabhu is keen in completing this movie project as soon as possible and is intending to release the movie in June this year. So, for this reason, Shruthi was asked to cancel her commitments and was compelled to join the shooting by Prabhu. The movie will feature Shruthi in a role of a youngster who lives in New York. Jayam Ravi happens to meet her and the two fall in love and the rest of the story will be shown in Chennai.

Harris Jayaraj is composing the music for this film and the tunes are ready for the film. Prabhu plans to shoot two songs in New York and rest in Chennai. (HC)

Looks like Prabhu Deva has got himself drenched in troubles for recommending his close friend Nayantara in all his upcoming films. If what we heard from sources is believed to be true, then Salman Khan and Jeyam Ravi have strongly refused to pair up with Nayantara in the films Prabhu Deva is supposed to direct them.

Followed by grand success of Wanted, Salman Khan has shown keen interest in working with Prabhu Deva in another film titled Most Wanted. As well, Kalapathi S Agoram of AGS Entertainment has been discussing scripts with Prabhu Deva for a film featuring Jeyam Ravi in lead roles.

Now the latest buzz is that both the actors have strongly expressed their dislike about sharing screen space with Nayantara. As well, Jeyam Ravi seems to have requested that he’s ready to pair up with any actresses except Nayantara. Dashed down with his hopes, Prabhu Deva is very much perplexed about the situation as Ravi came up with a open statement that he has got more offers after the success of Peranmai and he needn’t depend on Prabhu Deva.

Titled ‘Kick’, the film featured Ravi Teja, Ileana and Shaam in lead roles and was made at the budget of Rs. 20Crores. Editor Mohan has bought the film with a great amount to gift it as his son’s wedding gift.

This Telugu film produced by R.R. Movie Makers, is about Kalyan (Ravi Teja) who loves facing challenges and gets a kick on doing such things. His girlfriend Naina (Ileana) doesn’t like him for this abnormal nature and leaves to Malaysia. Meanwhile, a rough and tough cop (Shaam) falls in love with her. But he’s right on the fast heels of getting a notorious thief who’s none other than Kalyan himself.

Jayam Ravi is simply excited. It shows, when the actor grabs the mike to speak about his girl. The actor, whose wedding has been fixed for June 4, had recently held a press interaction to invite them for his wedding.

Speaking about the bride, he said “Aarthi was a girl I chose. I met her and I thought she was the kind of girl that I was looking for. So we broke the news to our families and they readily agreed. She a graduate from Stella Maris College in Chennai had done her PG from Scotland.”

Following wedding, the actor plans on visiting an undisclosed location for his honeymoon. “We had originally planned on going to Australia , but with the swine flu threat we have decided on another place,” said the actor, whose wedding will be held at Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar Hall.

Finally, after a long love story, both ‘Jeyam’ Ravi and Aarthi would be entering into nuptials with their parents’ concern. Jeyam Ravi made his debut with ‘Jeyam’ and continued striking gold with his brother’s directorial in various films. At the moment, he is busy shooting for his ‘Peranmai’ directed by Jananathan. With the film releasing around the mid of June, both the youngsters’ parents have arranged their marriage on June 7. Aarthi is the most loved daughter of Sujatha Vijayakumar.

The wedding ceremony would be held at Ramanathan Chettiyar Marriage Hall here in Chennai. Lots and lots of film personalities and politicians would be gracing over the occasion. Editor Mohan, Ravi’s father says, ‘It’s a marriage taking place with the blessings showered by elders’.

Jayam Ravi is all set to enter wedlock with his ladylove Aarthi. Disclosing about the developments, editor Mohan, Jayam Ravi’s father said that the wedding will take place soon after Jayam Ravi completes his commitments with his ongoing project Peranmai. The bride, Aarthi, is the daughter of producer Vijayakumar, who had produced the film Veerappu. Aarthi had completed business management course in Switzerland.

Jayam Ravi is presently busy with Peranmai, which is being directed by Jananathan. The actor shot to limelight with his debut venture Jayam, which ultimately attached as a prefix to his name. His elder brother Raja had directed the movie.
