‘Jeyam’ family brings ‘Kick’ to Tamil

Ha Ha Hah!!! Finally, ‘Jeyam’ has picked yet more successful Telugu film to remake it in Tamil. Titled ‘Kick’, the film featured Ravi Teja, Ileana and Shaam in lead roles and was made at the budget of Rs. 20Crores. Editor Mohan has bought the film with a great amount to gift it as his son’s wedding gift.

This Telugu film produced by R.R. Movie Makers, is about Kalyan (Ravi Teja) who loves facing challenges and gets a kick on doing such things. His girlfriend Naina (Ileana) doesn’t like him for this abnormal nature and leaves to Malaysia. Meanwhile, a rough and tough cop (Shaam) falls in love with her. But he’s right on the fast heels of getting a notorious thief who’s none other than Kalyan himself.

Shaam , who made an enviable screen debut with Simran and Jyothika in Jeeva’s 12B, is diversifying into Telugu desam. His debut Telugu film Kick has kick started his career with tremendous momentum and the soft spoken hero is flooded with two plum offers in Tollywood already.

Looks like his stars have finally started shining and he will be opening his innings in Bollywood too, in a film titled ‘Mujhe Maaf Karo’ directed by Faisal Syed. And this time around, Shaam will be surrounded by not one and not two but eight heroines. Bollywood circles whisper that one of the beauties may be from our neighboring country Pakistan. Perhaps one or two heroines from Kollywood may make it in the film.

Agam Puram in deep trouble in mid sea

Agam Puram crew was stuck in mid sea for more than 3 hours due to engine repair in the ship they cruised. Thirumalai is directing Agam Puram after Thee Nagar. Shyam and Meenakshi are in the lead roles. Sundar C Babu is composing the music for this film. The shooting of the film is taking in Malaysia for the last one month. The crew sailed in a cruise ship to shoot a song sequence. Shyam was accompanied by Director Thirumalai, Cinematographer and other assistant directors.

When the ship was in mid sea, there was engine failure. Since the cell phone were out of range message could not be sent to he shore. So the crew was stuck in the mid sea for more than 3 hours. Fortunately they were rescued by a boat which happened to pass that way. When asked Thirumalai about this he said, “ It is true that we were stranded in the mid sea. But we were saved because it was day time. But we would have been in great trouble if it was night.

Vivel ‘Miss Chinnathirai’ was held on Saturday evening at Ramavaram’s L’Amicale Club. It was a star-spangled occasion as Small screen’s gorgeous missies and anchors took part in it. Vision Pro Event Management hosted the grand event.

Anjana won the title of ‘Miss Chinnathirai – 2009’, A MBA student and yet gets on anchor in part time. The runners-up were Aishwarya and Ranjini who were felicitated on the dais.
Muruga – Pidichirukku fame Ashok, Blade Dheena, Actress Uma Riyaaz, Fashion Designer Karishma, Miss South Indian Saviya, Riya took part as juries.

Also present for the occasion were Suchitra, Shaam, Suhasini, Vishwa, Bhuvana and many others.

Shaam pairs up with 9 heroines

Stepping out from the box of clichéd formulas where a smart hero paired up with 2-3 heroines, the filmmakers have increased the numbers now. Actor Shaam has been so lucky with more than two heroines on the screens. His first film ‘12b’ featured him with Simran and Jyothika. Later, his ‘Thoondil’ and ‘ABCD’ had 2-3 heroines paired up with him. And now, the actor would sway with 9 heroines alongside him in his forthcoming bilingual film.

The film directed by Faizal is titled as ‘Sariya Thavara’ in Tamil while the Hindi version is ‘Mujhe Maaf Karo’ (Please Forgive Me). The actresses for this film are yet to be confirmed. It is rumored that a Pakistan based model may be one of the heroines. Shaam has completed shooting for his ‘Antony Yaar’ and his Telugu film ‘Kick’ is close on the heels of completion. Also he has completed shooting for his ‘Agam Puram’ directed by Thirumalai….
