Ileana D, Cruz, born on November 1st, 1982, entered the Telugu film with the movie “Devdasu” in 2006. Later on her value in Tollywood increased with the movie “Pokiri” in the same year and then she never looked back. She is now termed as one of the top actress in Tollywood and is also paid heavily for each film.
Until today, Ileana worked in 12 films which are Devadasu; Pokiri; Kedi; Khatranak; Rakhi; Munna; Aata; Jalsa; Bhale Dongalu; KICK; Rechipo and Saleem. Out of these twelve one was a Tamil film which is Kedi.
Devadasu, Pokiri, Jalsa and KICK were super hits in her career. They earned the pretty lasso some name and fame and loads of money. The rest were all either average or super flops. But speaking about her films fate, Ileana says that she is not bothered about their fate. She says that she does what ever the director suggests and takes her salary and is not interested in the fate of the film. She is just interested in her business of acting and nothing more than that.
She justified her statement by saying that, no one cares to pay more to the actress when a movie becomes a super-hit, so in the same way, the actress has no responsibility in case her film sinks at the box office.
Ileana is presently busy with the Telugu movie “Shakti” opposite to Junior NTR. She disclosed to our correspondent that she has three projects lined up and one of them is again opposite to Prince Mahesh Babu, who is her favorite actor in Tollywood. (HC)
