Tarun and Vimala Raman starrer new film ’Chukkalanti Ammayi Chakkanaina Abbayi’ has been completed its shooting part, currently the movie post production works are going on. Now the latest news is that the audio of this film will be released into markets on February 24th through Aditya Music.

It is being directed by Kanmani and is being jointly produced by Raju Hirwani and Gogineni Srinivas under Supreme Movies and Pranav Studios banners. Music has scored by Anoop Rubens. The movie is expected to release in March.(CHIT).

Vimala Raman, the mallu kutti of south Indian film industry, made her debut in Tollywood, with the movie “Evaraina Epudaina”. Although, the movie was not a hit financially, it earned good reviews for Vimala Raman. Now, there is news that, this gorgeous beauty has turned into a busy bee with three Telugu films.

The first one happens to be the movie “Chukkalanti Ammai Chakkannaina Abbayi” which has actor Tarun, playing the lead. There is news that Vimala Raman will be draping a bikini in this film in order to attract the mass crowds. It is a fact that actor Tarun has no market in the competitive acting field of Tollywood and so, the director of this film will be banking on Vimala’s cute assets.

The second film of Vimala Raman happens to be “Gayam 2” which has Jagapathi Babu in lead. This movie will be a sequel to RGV previous, “Gayam” and is shaping out in Bangkok, from few days.

The third film of Vimala Raman happens to “Ranga the Donga- Story of a thief”. Actor Srikanth, who completed his 100th film recently, will be the hero and this film will be directed by artist turned director Jeevi. Vimala Raman will play a police officer role in this film and will entertain the crowds with her erect shapes in the songs. This movie will go on to floors from February 28th, 2010.

In a recent interview, Vimala Raman has revealed that she is interested in doing Telugu films, if in case good pay and roles are offered to her. (HC)

It is totally baseless. Tarun and I had great fun during the shooting of Nava Vasantham but we hardly met with each other after shooting finished. Then how could we be in love? Tarun, Ankita and I gelled together on the sets. Tarun and I never met again on personal level.

There are also some rumors that a hero gifted you Toyoto Innova?

My god, why do people malign actress with cheap rumors? I bought Innova in Hyderabad on my hard-earned money. No hero gifted me. It is my personal car.

Bangalore media suggested that you and Malayalam actor Prithviraj have become so close..

My mother and Prithviraj’s mother are good friends. Both of our families regularly interact. He is a family friend. We chat up regularly but there is nothing more to our friendship.

So you are now just single?

Yes, but not ready to mingle. I won’t be thinking about love and matters of heart for another couple of years as I want to concentrate only on my acting.

You wore two-piece bikini in Drona but it was not well received. Your comments!

See, I got mixed response. Some people commented that the song was shot nicely and my bikini act was not vulgar. Some said that I should not have done it as I have homely girl image with the films like Pellaina Kotthalo and Yamadonga. I did the song because the director asked and the scene demanded. Anyhow, you can’t wear Salwar Kameej when you act in a scene that involves swimming pool, right!
