As per the sources Shriya has just finished shooting of item song in Pawan Kalyani’s next film ‘Komaram Puli’. Shriya Sharan will be dancing for an item number in Puli movie. The actress is now busy with a Malayalam project opposite hero Prithviraj.

Kanakaratna Movies banner is making the film and is produced by Singanamala Ramesh and directed by SJ Surya. Music is by AR Rehman.The film is finally releasing on 28th April 2010. (CHIT)

Director Sabapathy said that the shooting of Maa has been suspended for time being. He said,” I started Maa with Srikanth, Bhoomika and Prithviraj in the cast. The first schedule of this film took place in Rameswaram.But due certain reason the shooting of the film has been stopped. But this project has not been shelved. I will be talking to Producer Krishnamurthy regarding this soon. Now I am fully concentrating on the film titled 16.The shooting of the film is completed. Shiva and Madhushalini are in the lead roles.

Many are asking me whether the story of this film happens in 16 days. They are asking me because I have titled the film as 16. This is not a thriller film. There are no fighting scenes in this film. Love blossoms at the age of 16 so I have titled the film 16. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music will make this film glossier. The audio is to be released next month. I will also be directing a film for which Yuvan has written the story. He is also producing the film. The shooting of the film will commence by end of the year.

Tarun also recently gifted the actress an expensive luxury car. Now there’s news that Tarun’s mom has come to know about their affair and agreed for their wedding. It was a grand welcome for filmmaker Priya right with her debut directorial ‘Kanda Naal Mudhal’ produced by Duet Movies. Right on her second film, the woman filmmaker won good laurels for her ‘Kannamoochi Yenada’. But then, it was just the multiplex groups that showered favoritism on both the films and that really makes Priya disappointed as she’s stapled with the tag of ‘A Centre Director’. ‘Primarily, my focus isn’t just centered on miniscule audiences. Thusly, my forthcoming film will have all the best constituents of making it more reachable amongst B and C centres too.

The untitled film starring Prithviraj and Bhavana in lead roles has Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring music. It will have the equivalent elements of action, comedy, romance and sentiments. Of course, when you’ve a strong substantial script in your hands, you needn’t worry about the results for that’s more illustrious with ‘Ayan’ and Vennila Kabadi Kulu.”

Actor Prithviraj is known to develop a special relationship with his co-actresses. He also makes sure to give an expensive gift to each and every heroin he works with. This can be the reason that his heroines just love to work alongside him.

He had gifted a valuable present to Priyamani which helped him establish a close bond with her while working for Mani Rathnam's 'Ashokavanam'.

The same story repeated itself with Bhavana when they paired up for 'Ninaithale Inikkum', the remake of Malayalam film 'Classmates'. The two gelled so well with each other that now the actor has recommended Bhavana for director Priya's flick.

Shafi's Lollypop, the latest Prithviraj release running in theaters has hit the box office. Prithviraj has a busy schedule. Until Christmas he was engaged in the sets of Ravana directed by Mani Ratnam. Now he is in the sets of Calendar directed by Mahesh. Shortly he will join the sets of Punyaham directed by Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai's grandson Raj Nair. The location of Punyaham is Ottappalam.

After Punyaham he will be in the sets of Puthiya Mukham directed by Deepan. Sindhu Raj has penned the script. His other projects of 2009 include the works of Shaji Kailas, A.K Sajan and K. Madhu.

Quite shocking to hear that South Indian Film industry’s actors are being held as captives and yet there is no proper information about their whereabouts.

Prithviraj, Bhavana, Director Shafi, Cinematographer Azhagappan and other unit members fleeted to Thailand of Bangkok for filming Malayalam film ‘Lollipop’. However as a coincidence, over there citizens were enraged with protest against Thailand’s President Somchai Vangasavath for involved in corruption.

As the filming over, the entire crewmembers returned to airport, they seem to have been held as captives and there isn’t any news received from them. This has lead to ultimate tension amongst the South Indian Film Industries.

Let’s hope and pray that the perplexing situations may soon turn to be solved out soon-
