Sada agrees to do with Vasu!

March 9, 2010

The popular director P Vasu has chosen the well-known actress Sada as one of the heroine in his upcoming flick ‘Puli Vesham’ with RK of ‘Ellam Avan Seyal’ and ‘Azhagar Malai’ fame in the lead. A search is going on for the other heroine.

Sources say that Vasu was interested to work with Sada right from his Chandramukhi. He even approached her to offer a role in Chandramukhi but, she was busy with ‘Anniyan’ at that time and left the offer of Vasu.

Even it did not go well for Vasu when he asked her for ‘Aptha Rakshaka’. So, this time Sada willingly agreed to do the lead role in Vasu’s Puli Vesham. [WaY]

Namitha Refused To Act In Bollywood Movies

Namitha Refused To Act In Bollywood Movies

December 2, 2009

One should say Namitha is a rare piece. While every heroine starting from Asin, Trisha, Shriya and Sada are flocking towards North, we wanted ask about Namitha’s plan too. And the reply that came from her was unbelievably shocking.

“I love Tamil cinema and South life very much. I don’t bother what others do but, for me Tamil cinema is the best. In fact when I compare a lot of things between South and Bollywood, I find Tamil cinema is the finest.

Bollywood and South industries are entirely two different worlds. I feel like a princess in the hearts of my fans down South so, I want to be here. I am a little interested in Telugu too and in future I may do good projects there but a big NO NO to Bollywood,” said the Jaganmohini of South guys.

The oomph gal is now quite busy with the trilingual ‘Nil Kavani Ennai Kadhali’ opposite Kalabhavan Mani.

Actress Sada To Follow Hollywood Actress Julia Roberts Way

Actress Sada To Follow Hollywood Actress Julia Roberts Way

June 9, 2009

Whenever she gets a break from her shooting schedules, Anniyan heroine Sada watches a lot of movies. Among Hollywood actresses,Sada’s favorite is Julia Roberts. She likes the film Erin Brockowich that talks about the effect of positive attitude in life. So whenever she feels low, Sada watches this film and it peps her up. “Julia is very natural in the film. Her performance adds a nice lightness to it,” says Sada.

On the other hand, Sada gets easily disturbed by films with emotional story lines. Watching Life is beautiful and Marley and Me, Sada went on a crying spell. Particularly the death of the dog in Marley and Me affected her so much as she could relate the experience to her own pet and its dear life. Very emotional, is it not?

Sada's second innings

Sada's second innings

April 27, 2009

Hottie Sada is anxiously waiting for her Bollywood debut (Click) in which she plays the lead opposite Shreyas Talpade. “I play the role of a glamorous model in the film,” she says. Sada claims that there is no language barrier for actors and she is all for meaty roles in regional films. True enough, Sada’s Tamil debut Jayam, which was followed by Anniyan and Unnale Unnale have clicked at the BO.

Interestingly, her Tollywood movie Aparachitudu, might have been a blockbuster, but she hasn’t really been able to cash in on her success. “My female-oriented roles scuttled my career,” she rues. There’s hope though. Her next Tollywood film A aa E ee seems to be promising, she says and would be an “ideal comeback film.” Will she ‘click’ here again? Now, that is the big question!

Ghajini and Mumbai terror attacks’ effects on Sadha

Ghajini and Mumbai terror attacks’ effects on Sadha

December 31st, 2008

Quite perplexing, isn’t? What has Aamir’s Ghajini and Mumbai terror got to do with Actress Sadha. Well, of course there is more relevance as couple of her Hindi flicks got delayed on its releases. At the moment, she has completed shooting for Hindi movies ‘Khalbali – Fun Unlimited’ and ‘Click’. These films were supposed to hit screens somewhere in December. But unfortunately, Mumbai terror attacks on Nov 26 and Ghajini’s worldwide grand release gets her films hitting screens delayed.

Why hasn’t she got any offers in Tamil? ‘Of course, I had many offers’ prompts Sadha who continues, “Busy with my Hindi projects, I had no options other than refusing the best opportunities”. Also she has started shooting for her other Hindi movie ‘So Kicchadi’ that has no clues about who’s there on title cards.
