Doubtlessly, Jeeva has been the busiest guy in town for the actor has been simultaneously shooting for various projects at the same time. With his previous film Katcheri Arambam turning to be a top-drawer at the box office, the actor has completed shooting major portions of the film Singam Puli, in which he plays dual roles. The actor is also occupied with K.V. Anand’s KO that has Ajmal and actress Radha’s daughter Karthika along with the Goa famed Piaa Bajpai in lead roles. His other film Roudram has completed its first schedule and he will start his next project Vandhan Vendran by the first week of August.

Filmmaker Kannan, who shot to fame with his continuous successes Jayam Kondan and Kanden Kadhalai (remake of Bollywood blockbuster Jab We Met), is wielding the megaphone for this film. For the past couple of months, Kannan has been busy in the pursuit of an actress to perform the female lead character. First it was mentioned that Nayantara will be signing the project and now newcomer Tapasee has bagged the offer.

Previously, Tapasee had replaced Trisha in the Dhanush starrer Aadukalam and now Nayantara. Touted to be a crime-thriller, the entire film will be shot in Mumbai with Vasan Visual Venture producing it. (OI)

Actress Divya Spandana is fleeing with her feet over clouds with the rechristened name bringing her more fortune. ‘I hate being called as ‘Kuthu’ Ramya’ says Divya, who’s now pairing with Jeeva in ‘Singam Puli’. Soon after the film’s release, she has planned to sign more Tamil films…

When asked her about flying down to Bollywood, she said, “It’s a good idea. But I love to remain herein Tamil film industry as it’s a challenging task to remain over the top of charts. Not alone good looks would help an actress to do well, but she must excellent acting ability to spell… Hope! Sooner things will be favorable for me as well…’

When asked about her favorite actor with whom she yearns to pair with, the actress said, “I am a great fan of Ajith Kumar ever since I saw him over in ‘Aasai’. If anyone else is there to recommend me, kindly do it and I will gift them with ice creams….” (KT)
